The 7 JODI organisations met in Luxembourg on 11 July 2008 to review progress made in enhancing oil data quality collected through JODI. They noted with satisfaction the preliminary results of the actions decided by Heads of JODI organisations at their first meeting in Rome (21 April 2008) aiming at improving timeliness and completeness of data submission to JODI. JODI partners reviewed the preparation of the Asian Regional JODI training workshop in Bangkok (10-12 September 2008) and discussed the proposals made at the Jeddah Energy Meeting (22 June 2008) to extend JODI data collection mechanism to cover annual data.
