The 7 JODI organisations met at OPEC headquarters in Vienna on 3 March 2009. They reviewed progress made on JODI data submissions since last November and discussed preparations for the 7th International JODI Conference due to be hosted in early June in Quito, Ecuador by OLADE. Other subjects covered included review of a proposal for a JODI data user survey, discussion of the feasibility of the extension of JODI to (monthly) natural gas data, terms of reference of the second round assessment of JODI data quality and progress made with regard of reporting of JODI data using an extended questionnaire. The extended version of the JODI questionnaire was requested by oil data users (oil market analysts) at the 6th International JODI Conference (Riyadh, November 2006).
