More than 90 countries/economies,
Members of the six pioneer organizations (APEC, EUROSTAT, IEA, OLADE, OPEC and
UNSD) participate in the Joint Oil Data Initiative, representing around 90% of
global oil supply and demand.
Since 2001, major progress has been achieved:
participating countries/economies’
submissions are more timely
and complete, and quality improved.
Participation is assessed on a six month period.
A table showing the degree of JODI partners’ satisfaction with data provided by
participants with regard to sustainability, timeliness and completeness of their
submissions is available on-line (see ‘Database/Participation
Assessment’ section).
