7th Regional JODI Training Workshop for Middle East and North Africa

8-10 October 2012, Rabat, Morocco

The 7th Regional JODI Training Workshop was held from the 8th - 10th of October 2012 in Rabat, Morocco. The Workshop was hosted by the Ministry of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment of the Kingdom of Morocco with the support of the JODI partners: APEC, Eurostat, IEA, IEF, OPEC, OLADE, and UNSD.

With the aim of increasing JODI data quality, the Workshop was delivered to 41 participants from 11 countries in charge of hydrocarbon data collection at national administrations that participate in JODI. The Workshop covered the following themes: JODI background, status and objectives, the extended JODI Questionnaire, data user perspectives (JODI user survey), data collection, and quality assessment techniques with practical exercises.
