Colour code assessment approach by UNSD

The colour coding is mostly based on internal consistency checks of the data only.

The following checks have been applied:

• balance checks
• stocks checks
• calorific values checks
• time series checks
• magnitude checks against annual data

If the checks showed reasonable consistency of data, the blue colour code has been applied.

In other cases the yellow colour code has been applied and metadata for the respective country should be consulted.
